Badlands October
2007 Trip Report
The weather was great. Most of the club left Friday and stayed
in a cabin on the Wabash River about five miles from the
Badlands. By Friday night about 10 of us were already
there. We spent Friday night playing Corn Hole by the fire and
doing some bench wheeling.
Saturday everyone was up bright and early. We all pitched in
for breakfast. There was more food than we could eat.
Everyone
was in line at the Badlands by 8:30am and waiting to get in the
park. After everyone was in we hit the Green Trail, Orange
Trail and the trails by the drainage pipes. A couple of us did
the Pink Trail, but it was getting close to 5pm. Next time we
need two days in the park.
Dinner
was great we had our own "Chef." We had chili,
burgers, bean soup and all the trimmings.
Saturday
night everyone watched the videos and pictures from the trails played
some more Corn Hole and had some adult beverages.
I hope everyone
enjoyed the trip! I know Mary and I had a blast. |
