Jonesville March
2008 Trip Report
The club was lucky to get a great local spot
to wheel. Everyone should thank Tim! The land is located
in Jonesville, MI. It's about 30 acres with hill climbs, water
crossings, mud, concrete and some off camber tight trails.
On March 22nd we had our first club event. Some of us met at a
restaurant in Blissfield, MI to eat breakfast. Then we met
everyone else in Jonesville by 11am. Total there was over 20
rigs. It was great to see some of the new members.
The 7-10 inches of snow made it very hard to get around. We
definitely got some practice winching. A few us us added some
additional detailing to our Jeeps. Andy and Shelley ended up on
their side on top of one of the hill climbs.
When the snow clears we can make a loop around the property.
Stay tuned for more information.
We hid Easter Eggs for the kids to find after everyone had enough
wheeling. The snow made it hard to hide the eggs.
Thanks to Fred and Tina for letting the club enjoy the
outdoors. We look forward to camping this summer.
